Internal Grant Committees
The Research Council, with approval of the Faculty Senate, has recently restructured the internal grant committees. There are now two internal grant committees - University Research Committee and Humanities and Social Sciences Committee.
Significant changes in the process and guidelines include:
- faculty and students apply to the same committees (using the same guidelines)
- maximum dollar amounts available for awards has changed
- committees will meet once
(there will be no opportunity to resubmit or clarify proposal information) - new proposal format
