Student Tuition and Fees & Graduate Research Assistant Tuition Subsidy Rates

The ISU Fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. These rates change and are update on an annual basis so be sure to check with the Division of Research Development for updates. When building your budget, increase the subsidy by 7% for each subsequent year to account for inflation.

Graduate Research Assistants GRA's, TA's, and RA's

All grant funded GRAs, TAs, RAs and GAs must be given tuition and health insurance subsidy and are given an automatic out-of-state waiver. NOTE: Cannot fund a partial student research assistant with a grant.

FY 2013-2014: Graduate Student tuition + Health Insurance: $9,500/yr ($4,750/semester), and $347/summer credit hour.

FY 2014-2015: Graduate Student tuition + Health Insurance: Approx $10165 per year ($5083 per semester), and Approx $371 per summer credit hour.
