12-U00972-On 03/23/12 at
approximately 0004 hours at Eli Oboler Library, Public Safety responded to a
report of a suspicious individual. Public Safety checked the area cameras and
was unable to find any suspicious activity.
12-U00973-On 03/23/12 at approximately 0401 hours at Central
Operations, Public Safety took a report of an alarm at Holt Arena. A maintenance
request was submitted.
12-U00974-On 03/23/12 at
approximately 0916 hours in the G01 Lot, Public Safety responded to the report
of two dogs chained to a meter. The dogs acted aggressively whenever anyone
walked by. Pocatello Police Department was contacted and responded. Attempts
to contact the owner were unsuccessful. Pocatello Police Animal Control
removed the dogs from campus to the animal shelter.
12-U00976-On 03/23/12 at approximately 1100 hours at Albion Hall,
Public Safety conducted a fire drill.
12-U00977-On 03/23/12 at
approximately 1125 hours at the Holt Arena, Public Safety responded to the report
of harassing phone calls an ISU Employee was receiving. Pocatello Police was
contacted by phone. It was found that the calls were a telemarketing scam and
told the individual to be aware of the dangers of these types of calls.
12-U00979-On 03/23/12 at approximately 2033 hours at the Ridge Crest
Apartments, Public Safety responded to a loud scream from one of the
apartments. The area was check and found to be free of any emergency.
12-U00980-On 03/23/12 at approximately 2121 hours on Bartz Way,
Public Safety issued an ISU verbal warning to an ISU student for unsafe
equipment, a headlight.
12-U00981-On
03/23/12 at approximately 2242 hours in area of Turner Hall, Public Safety responded to an alcohol offense involving an ISU Student. The
individual was given a verbal warning for underage consumption. Case referred
to Student Affairs.
