Fire Alarms – 0 Fire Incidents - 0 Unsecured Door – 3 Unsecured Vehicle - 0 Vehicle Jump Starts - 0 Vehicle Unlocks - 0 Escorts - 1 Malfunctioning Lights - 0 After Hours Access - 0 Room Unlock – 0 12-U00318-On 01/27/12 at approximately 0940 hours at Central Operations, Public Safety took a report of found property, U.S. currency, that was found on the sidewalk of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and Cesar Chavez. 12-U00319-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1455 hours at the Pharmacy Building, Public Safety responded to perform a welfare check on an ISU Faculty Member. The individual was found to be ok and Public Safety cleared the area. 12-U00320-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1352 hours at the Student Health Clinic, Public Safety took a report of a bicycle improperly secured to a hand railing that had been left there overnight. A tow warning was issued to give the owner a warning to move the bicycle. 12-U00321-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1637 hours in the G17 Lot, Public Safety took a report of damage to an ISU Student’s vehicle, a broken window. 12-U00323-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1924 hours at Schubert Heights, Public Safety responded to a report of a water pipe that had burst on the east side exterior of the building. ISU Maintenance and the City Water Department were contacted and responded to shut off the water and fix the leak. 12-U00324-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1935 hours at Schubert Heights, Public Safety issued an ISU verbal warning to an ISU student for a building code violation, smoking in a dorm room. 12-U00325-On 01/27/12 at approximately 1936 hours at Central Operations, Public Safety received a call for a welfare check on an ISU student living off campus. Pocatello Police Department was contacted and responded. The individual was found to be ok. Case referred to Dean of Students. 12-U00326-On 01/27/12 at approximately 2115 hours at the Physical Science Complex, Public Safety responded to take a report of utility problem, a water leak. The water leak was found to be coming from the ceiling in Room 353. Facilities Services was contacted and responded. The water leak was contained and clean up will begin next week. 12-U00327-On 01/27/12 at approximately 2305 hours at the University Courts Apartments, Public Safety took a report of an alcohol offense involving an ISU Student. In addition, it was discovered that some of the individuals were smoking cigarettes in the University apartment. Pocatello Police was contacted and responded. One individual was given a warning for underage consumption. Another individual was given a warning for aiding in a misdemeanor. Case referred to PPD, Dean of Students and Housing.
