... "Success, in a generally accepted sense of the term, means the opportunity to experience and to realize to the maximum the forces that are within us." So said David Sarnoff, who was born to a poor Jewish family in Russia before immigrating to the United States at a young age. Sarnoff found opportunities in this land, and he rose from his humble roots to become a pioneer in telecommunications, eventually becoming the founder of the National Broadcasting Company, which we now know as NBC.
