Part 6. Student Affairs
Section IV. Classroom
I. Grade Reports and Final Grades
For general information, see the current University Undergraduate Catalog. Final grades are due in the Registrar’s Office thirty-six (36) hours after the scheduled exam. The computer processing of grades makes it essential that promptness be observed. Furthermore, there is an immediate demand to establish eligibility of students for registering, employment, extra curricular activities, and graduation. All of these matters are based on grades and the proper functioning of the Registrar’s Office is impossible unless the office receives grade reports from the faculty on time. Grades are defined in the undergraduate and graduate catalogs; faculty members should be particularly careful to observe the definition of the “incomplete” grade.
