F. Policy Promulgation/Adoption

1. University Policies

University policies and any amendments or alterations to policies will be instituted only with the approval of the President. Policies must be submitted for approval through the appropriate dean or vice president, or through the Faculty Senate, the Council of Professional Employees, or the Classified Employees Council. Upon promulgation, policies will be distributed campus-wide and included in the Faculty and Staff Handbook. All policies must be in accord with the Rules and Governing Policies and Procedures of the Board.

2. Departmental/Office Policies

Departmental or office policies shall be in writing, approved by the dean of the particular college or school, and made available to the employee. All such policies shall be in accord with those of the University.
