Idaho State University has served the educational needs of the citizens of Idaho well since 1901 through its eight schools and colleges. Listed below are the schools/colleges and the dates they were established:

1. The College of Pharmacy 1927
2. The (College of Technology) School of Trade & Technical Education 1935
3. The (College of Arts and Sciences) College of Liberal Arts 1947
4. The (Graduate School) Division of Graduate Studies 1955
5. The College of Education 1958
6. The (College of Health-Related Professions) Division of Medical Arts 1961
7. The College of Business 1963
8. The (College of Engineering) School of Engineering 1975
