Forklift Training
ISU Facilities Services offers complete OSHA-compliant forklift training 4 times per year. All persons using a forklift on campus must complete this training every three years. The course is taught by a certified instructor and uses a self-paced workbook and hands-on training. At the end of the course the student will complete a hands-on skills test.
- Dates: Last Thursday of the following months: January, April, July and October.
- Time: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a half hour lunch
- Location: Maintenance and Operation building, #26
- Initial Certification Cost: $50.00, Includes workbook, helmet and safety glasses
- Renewal Certification Cost: $25.00 for workbook only.
