  Confidentiality

The Faculty Ombuds Office operates confidentially. That means there will be no disclosure of who used - or did not use - the office. This promise of confidentiality is made to the University community in the hopes that individuals will feel safe using ombuds services. The Faculty Ombuds Office cannot guarantee confidentiality when:
  1. The ombudsperson becomes privy to information indicating that criminal activity has taken place.
  2. The ombudsperson becomes privy to information indicating intent of an individual to harm him/herself or another.
