Northwest Rural Nurse Residency

Idaho State University School of Nursing received federal funding from the Health Resources Services Administration in 2008 to work with partners in several states to provide rural nurses with a rural generalist residency. The telemedicine and rich media classes help new rural nurses transition from novice to proficient capabilities. The standardize content and process increases patient care quality and increases nurse confidence. Brochure
