Purpose of Grant: The aim of the Northwest Rural Nurse Residency (NWRNR) is to provide transition to practice program access to 20% of the nation's 3.1 million nurses. The "residency in a box" idea empowers nurses in small critical access hospitals and small non-acute care agencies to provide increased patient care quality.
