Cherese R. Severson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is adjunct clinical faculty for Idaho State University School of Nursing. She has been a faculty member since 2009 and serves on the graduate faculty for the family nurse practitioner option. Dr. Severson has been a nurse practitioner since 1999. Her clinical specialties include family practice, rural health, internal medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Severson specializes in the application of evidence and research in the clinical setting. She has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is often featured in the Idaho Press Tribune. Dr. Severson is a member of Nurse Practitioners of Idaho, Sigma Theta Tau and is the state representative for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Idaho.
