Debra Reiland MS, RN, ACNS-BC is a clinical assistant professor at Idaho State University School of Nursing. She has been serving at the school since 2008. Reiland teaches in the undergraduate nursing program. She teaches health assessment and teaches clinical for community/leadership. She is a Fit & Fall Proof and Chronic Disease Self-Management Master Trainer. Reiland was selected as a podium speaker in 2009 at the National Clinical Nurse Specialist Convention in St. Louis. She presented an innovative form of online leadership simulation through the Northwest Rural Nurse Residency program in May 2011. She received her Post-Master Certificate in Nursing Education in May 2011. She continues to work with simulation to integrate theory into practice. Reiland completed her BS, Nursing and MS, Nursing at Idaho State University.
