Profile

Mary C. Ovitt, MS, RN is a clinical assistant professor at Idaho State University School of Nursing. She has been serving at the school since 2007 and brings over 30 years of hospital nursing practice and nursing administrative experience to the academic setting. Professor Ovitt teaches nursing leadership and evidence-based practice courses in the undergraduate traditional, accelerated, and BS Completion programs while maintaining an active role in the outcomes measurement processes that support ongoing improvements in the School of Nursing. She has a keen interest in building strong leaders for professional nursing practice. Ovitt completed her BS, Nursing and MS, Nursing at Idaho State University.
