Profile
Omotayo (Tayo) Omotowa is a Clinical Instructor and Lab Coordinator for Idaho State University's
School of Nursing. Her areas of interest include Teaching, Scholarship, Service, Simulation, Geriatric
Nursing, Public Health, and Policy. She has five years of staff nurse experience on various medical
surgical units at the Eastern Idaho Regional Center, Idaho Falls. In addition she has five years of previous
teaching experience at the Bishop Smith Memorial College in Nigeria teaching Government and Yoruba.
Most recently she served as an adjunct faculty at ISU School of Nursing teaching nursing fundamentals
and working in the skills lab.
She was on the Dean's list at Lewis-Clark State College and is a member of STTI, ANA, and the Idaho
Nurses Association. She is also a certified Crisis Intervention Team Education member. She has
presented her Graduate School Practicum Project at ISU and the State Hospital South, Blackfoot.
Ms. Omotowa has a BSC in Political Science from Obafermi Qwolowo University, Nigeria; MPA in Public
Administration from University of Ilorim, Nigeria; MA, Political Science from the University of Idaho; BSN
from Lewis-Clark State College; and MSN in Nursing Education from Walden University.
