Christine (Tina) F. Mladenka, DNP, WHNP, RN is a Clinical Associate Professor and Associate Director for Undergraduate Studies at Idaho State University School of Nursing in Pocatello, Idaho. Dr Mladenka has served at the school for 13 years. She primarily teaches in the undergraduate program and guest lectures for nursing classes in the graduate program. She developed and co-teaches a multidisciplinary graduate level course, "Genetics for the Health Care Professional," with audiologist, Dr. Mary Whitaker. Dr. Mladenka's research interests include genetic/genomic education for health care professionals, genetic/genomic services in small urban community with a focus on prenatal and cancer genetics and reproductive health services. Her areas of expertise include genetics/genomics in health care, women's health services, prenatal care and reproductive health services and issues. She has a clinical practice in family planning services with the Southeast Idaho Public Health department.
