Profile

Dr Kehinde is Assistant Professor of Nursing. He is a nurse scientist with a program of research in the area of prevention of falls for older adults with dementia in nursing homes. He has received a South Carolina Clinical Translational Science (CTSA) sub-award from NIH and a Research and Information Exchange Award form the University of Utah College of Nursing. Dr. Kehinde has completed the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing Research Summer Scholars Program, the National Institute of Aging Summer Research Institute, and the Johnson and Johnson Minority Scholarship program. He has presented his research at national conferences and also published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Kehinde has previous Staff Nurse experience in California, England, and Nigeria. He has taught courses in Evidence-Based Nursing Practice and Quality Improvement in Healthcare. Dr. Kehinde received his BS from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria; MSN at University of Phoenix; Ph.D in Nursing at Medical University of South Carolina; and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Nursing at the University of Utah.
