Dr. Bledsoe has over 35 years of nursing experience in Short Term Acute Care, Long Term Acute Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Her background includes development of bedside nurse researchers, implementaion of evidence based practice into nursing care, leadership in multi-hospital Shared Governance, grant writing and Magnet Re-designation. She has served on the Steering Committee for the National Nursing Practice Network, contributing Evidence Based Practice implementation instruction. She has acted as Chair of the Idaho Nurses Association Education Committee and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She has a special interest in Autism and student rights, working with families with special needs children as a lay advocate and serves as an expert witness for special needs children. Dr. Bledsoe graduated from Idaho State University with her BS, Nursing, received her MSN at the University of Colorado, and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Utah.
