Training Required to Have Grant Funds Released – CITI Conflict of Interest

Completion of Research Conflict of Interest (COI) training is a requirement for those receiving external funds - grants/contracts.

The majority of funding agreements state that COI training must be taken before spending begins on a grant. CITI's module addresses this need.

As of February 1, 2017, no funds will be released for new awards until the completion of CITI Conflict of Interest (COI) training by the Lead Principal Investigator (LPI), PIs and any Investigators [as listed on the Cayuse Proposal form].

Receiving continuation funding?  This training requirement applies to you.

There is no fee for this training.  Completion is valid for the next 4 years. Information on CITI online training and CITI COI module instructions are available on the Research Outreach & Compliance website.

Have you taken CITI Conflict of Interest training through another university?  Send a copy of your Certificate of Completion to orintegr@isu.edu.
