Risky Business Week Set Nov. 7-11


In honor of RISKY BUSINESS WEEK, a week dedicated to highlighting the importance of risk management on campus, the Department of Risk Management is pleased to offer the University Campus a series of presentations that create a culture of risk management that spans the entire year. 

President Arthur Vailas has proclaimed Risky Business Week Nov. 7- 11, and encourages faculty and staff to take advantage by attending three educational forums and learn what risks are facing our institution and what we can do to help manage those risks. 

Workshops will be offered on Monday, Nov 7 - Copyright Law, Presenter - Christopher Fasel, Director of Technology Commercialization; Wednesday, Nov. 9 - Risk Management in Higher Education, Presenter - Faith Cox, Director of State Risk Management;  and  Friday, Nov 11 - Green Dot, Presenters - Stephanie Richardson and Sean Fay.  All workshops will be held in the Oboler Library from 10- 11 a.m. in Rm B06 and open to both Idaho Falls Rm 303, and Meridian, Rm 686, campuses.
