ISU Researchers Solve Mysteries of Ancient Fish

Using CAT scans and making 3-D virtual reconstructions of the jaws of the ancient fish Helicoprion, Idaho State University researchers have solved some of the mysteries surrounding large spiral fossils of this fish's teeth. (read more...)

Institute of Rural Health Receives $250,000 Grant to Help Brain Injury Victims

As many as 35,000 Idahoans, including soldiers injured in war, may be living with a severe traumatic brain injury, according to the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (read more...)

The Department of Dental Hygiene, under the direction of Karen Portillo, RDH, MS, conducted their Give Kids a Smile Program treating 91 children from the surrounding Southeast Idaho area and providing almost $19,000 worth of oral health care services (read more...)
