Mission Statement
We recognize the under representation of various ethnic groups entering Idaho State University, therefore we address issues of accepting and supporting ISU's growing diversity to better develop mutual respect campus wide. Our intent is not to single out or self-segregate ethnic students, but to provide them with viable options of accommodating their cultural beliefs, cultural identity and practices to ensure their success at ISU. We believe that diversity can only enrich our university and our surrounding communities.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to ensure that Idaho State University maintains a climate that promotes acceptance and appreciation of culturally diverse teaching, learning, and social environments where all students are equally encouraged and supported to fully participate and succeed.
Our vision is to to encourage the value of diversity that allows students, faculty and staff to have increased exposure to new ideas and perspectives from cultures different than their own.
