ISU-Meridian pharmacy professors organize research symposiums for AAAS regional meeting

Idaho State University-Meridian College of Pharmacy researchers Todd Talley and Dong Xu are organizing symposiums for the 94th Annual Meeting of the AAAS Pacific Division at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, June 16-19.
Drs. Talley and Xu are spearheading programs that will address the development of new drug therapies, advancements in computational methods and biomedical research, infectious disease pathology and prevention, and experimental methods to better understand and combat cancer.
Talley and Xu are assistant professors in the College of Pharmacy’s Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. AAAS is the American Association for the Advancement of Science, an international nonprofit research organization and publisher of the journal Science. The Pacific Division's mission is to further the work of scientists, their students and to foster scientific freedom and responsibility.
