Veteran Football Coach Carl Ferrill joins ISU-Boise Facility

Boise- Former university head football coach and athletic director Carl Ferrill, Ed.D., has joined the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education at Idaho State University-Boise.
This semester, he'll teach a graduate course on the principals, problems and ethics of coaching sports.
Ferrill is the former head football coach at New Mexico Highlands University in Las Vegas, N.M., and served as recruiting coordinator and defensive backfield coach at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He's also had coaching affiliations with NFL teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.
Ferrill holds a doctorate of education degree from California Coast University in Santa Ana, and a master's degree from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. He hosts a sports talk show on New Mexico's KNMX radio, which is broadcast to markets throughout the Southwest.
