Master of Science in Dental Hygiene
The master's degree program in Dental Hygiene (MSDH) is an advanced degree; therefore, the program is designed for students who are licensed dental hygienists with baccalaureate degrees. The Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University is designed to accommodate non-traditional graduate students around the world. Through the convenience of web-based instruction, the program allows students to earn a graduate degree while maintaining their current residence and life style.
Currently there is a demand for dental hygiene educators across the United States and Canada with more than 60% of dental hygiene programs reporting job openings in the next five years. In addition to being leaders in dental hygiene education, graduates are prepared for progressive leadership roles as advanced practitioners in rural and community settings.
Additional information about the program philosophy, curriculum, admission, etc. can be found on the MSDH website at http://www.isu.edu/departments/dentalhy/msdh/index.shtml
