    Idaho State University

    Position: Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics; full-time, nine-month, non-tenure track starting August 2008. Two possible positions renewable up to three years subject to satisfactory annual performance review.

    Responsibilities: Responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or advanced courses in mathematics and/or statistics, active research in mathematics, and participation in departmental colloquia and seminars.

    Minimum Qualifications: Earned doctorate in mathematics or statistics with not more than five years beyond the degree, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and an active research program. Applicants with research interests that are compatible with current faculty interests will be given preference.
