Placement Audition: Saturday, August 13, 2011
After registering for band camp, the drumline will hold placement audition from 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm. The day will consist of students playing in an ensemble setting and receiving feedback from the faculty and student instructors, allowing students to get the "feel" of playing in a college drumline. Technique and playing style will be taught and students are encouraged to try as many instruments as they would like. Final decisions regarding instrument assignments will be made during this audition.
Drumline Audition Music
Please prepare for whichever instruments you are interested in. Memorization will not be required. Bass drum applicants will be asked to read on a variety of bass drum parts. To save a file, right click the link, and select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As."
