Welcome!
The Idaho State Summer Marching Band Leadership Camp is designed to promote and develop the leadership skills of high school and college marching band students with an emphasis in their specialized area of interest. The camp is divided into four primary components that include an emphasis in marching fundamentals, leadership and motivational techniques. Students in the Drum Major and Leadership track also receive advanced instruction on their instrument from our brass and woodwind specialists.

Our instructional staff is recruited from around the country and have expert knowledge and experience in their areas of instruction. Students may commute or stay on campus, and in addition to great instruction, there will be plenty of fun and activities planned as well.

Our leadership camp for 2011 is shaping up to be even better! With an additional day of instruction, students will get more opportunities to participate in several sessions, including brass and woodwind instruction on their instruments. Band directors can also choose to be involved with workshops designed just for them. Stayed tuned!
