Note: For quizzes, look in your Moodle course(s). If your instructor has asked that you take this tutorial and the accompanying quiz, the quiz should be located in your Moodle course. In the event that you do not have this in one of your Moodle courses, please contact Spencer Jardine.
SearchPath Tutorial
The Search Path Tutorial offers research tips and tricks to enable researchers to do their work.
Note #1: The quizzes may already be available in one of your Moodle courses. This would be easier than printing out your quiz scores from the tutorial. Check your Moodle course for the relevant quizzes before taking the quizzes online here. Instructors who wish to make the quiz available within their Moodle course may ask for the files from Spencer Jardine.
Note #2: If you have been asked to take the quizzes via this online tutorial, please clear your cookies if you intend to take the quizzes embedded in this tutorial, so you can be able to print out the correct quiz score. For those using Mozilla Firefox go to Tools in the main task bar. Select: Clear Private Data. Then check the boxes marked Cookies and Cache. For those using Internet Explorer go to Tools in the main task bar. Select: Delete Browsing History... Click on the Delete Cookies button.
The Library of Congress Call Number System
Learn about call numbers in the SearchPath Tutorial section titled Understanding Call Numbers. Then apply this information with the SatchL Call Number game. It lets you place books in their proper call number order.
