To find the full text for newspapers, please use the A-Z Journal List. This database lists full text newspapers and journals available through journal package subscriptions and databases the Library has purchased. It also lists many of the newspapers the Library has in its collection. The A-Z Journal List does not include the newspapers in the Access Newspaper Archive or the historical newspaper web pages.

Directories
Editor & Publisher International Year Book (Reference Collection: PN4700 .E45): This year book lists names and contact information for newspapers, syndicates and wire services from everything from local newspapers to national papers to international newspapers. The library receives every third annual edition beginning in 2002.
Gale Directory of Publications and Broadcast Media (Reference Desk: PN4867 .A97, older editions in Reference Collection): This directory lists names and publications for television, radio, and print broadcast media, including newspapers, magazines and journals. Volumes 1 and 2 list media by state. Volume 3 lists networks and syndicates, and includes indexes and tables. Volume 4 contains regional market indexes. Volume 5 contains international indexes.
News Digests
Facts on File (Reference Collection: D410 .F31): “Every week the editors of Facts On File World News Digest research and distill key news information from more than 100 major newspapers, news magazines, other periodicals, and government and online sources from the U.S. and around the world into a permanent, researchable record. They seek to record all those events that will be of lasting significance, anticipating the needs of researchers in the future. The emphasis throughout is on the factual content rather than opinion or analysis.”

Newspaper Holdings List (Reference Desk): This binder was put together by Eli M. Oboler Library staff and lists all the Idaho newspapers held by the library. Also listed are locations and dates of coverage.

To find specific newspaper’s web page, enter the title and city name in an Internet search engine search box, such as Google.com, or use one of the meta sites in the list below.
Google News: Google's news services pulls headlines from online editions of newspapers, eZines and other news sources from around the world. Headlines are displayed with part of the first paragraph of the article and with links to the story and related articles from other sources. Searchable. Foreign language editions for Chinese, German, French, Korean and more are available. Updated constantly throughout the day.

Newseum: Today's Front Pages: Newseum hosts this site where front pages of the current issues of over 600 newspapers from over 60 countries are displayed in thumbnail format. The full readable front page of the newspapers can be viewed from this site. Subsequent pages are not available. An archive of front pages for a few selected important dates is available for viewing.
Reuters: Reuters is one of the premier wire services in the world. Constantly being updated, this site is a great source for finding news from around the world as it happens. Browsable and searchable.
Metasites: The following metasites serve as directories, with links, to newspaper web sites. Even though there is overlap in coverage, each site includes links to some unique titles.
