Briefly describe the research assignment for this class; provide some sample topics if possible; and/or list particular skills and resources you expect your students to learn in the library workshop. Library instruction is most effective when students have an actual research assignment and engage in a learning partnership between librarians and teachers. Research and testimonials from peer faculty and librarians show that students synthesize learning concepts into course-based topics more effectively when their course instructors participate in library instruction.
