Indexed. Dictionaries Etymologisches Wörterbuch der Deutschen Sprache (Reference Collection: PF 3580. K5 1989): This dictionary not only defines German words, but it also explains their origins and evolutions in the German language. This book is in German. The Oxford-Duden German Dictionary: German-English, English-German (Reference Collection: PF 3640. O 94 1999): In addition to defining thousands of German words, this dictionary also provides notes on grammar and usage. Literature Encyclopedia of German Literature (Reference Collection: PT 91. E 53 2000): This two volume encyclopedia contains articles on German-language writers, their works, and important topics in the study of German literature. A comprehensive index can be found in the second volume. Oxford Companion to German Literature (Reference Collection: PT 41.G 3 1997): This companion contains articles on German-language writers, their works, and important issues in the study of German literature. |
