Web Sites

Education Report Card: This site provides reports that assess the educational system of each state in several categories such as academic achievement, academic achievement of low income and minority students, return on investment, rigor of standards, and postsecondary and workforce readiness. The information is drawn mostly from the National Center for Education Statistics.

EduHound: Everything for Education K-12 Comprehensive menu of educational sources (lesson plans, worksheets, clip art, web site development program) in K-12 curriculum for teachers, students and parents, as well as grant sources and professional sites for teachers. National Council of Teachers of Mathematics NCTM standards for school mathematics, K-12 lesson plans, job postings, grant notices, conference listings, math education news, and more to assist teachers of math at all levels.

PBS Teachers: Resources for the Classroom Directs teachers to PBS programs, cooperative activities with other providers, newsletter & links to book & Web site recommendations. Provides access to PBS TeacherLine which promotes continuing education & graduate courses, with links to courses organized by state. Family Resources section links to PBS Kids, PBS Kids Go & PBS Parents.
