EDGAR: This site is a searchable database of SEC filings as far back as 1994. For Canadian Securities Administration filings, visit SEDAR.
NAICS--North American Industry Classification System: This Web site can be used to find the NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) number of hundreds of different types of businesses.
Standard Industry Classification (SIC) System Search: Use this Web site to find, via a keyword search, the Standard Industry classification number for hundreds of different industry groups.
ThomasNet: This searchable Web site can be used to locate suppliers, products, services and companies in the United States and Canada. This site is also known as the Thomas Register.
U.S. Government Documents Ready Reference: Business, Economics and Labor (Columbia): Columbia University Libraries has created an extensive set of web pages indexing Government information. This page includes links to items such as the FedBizOpps, American Housing Survey, Occupational Outlook, and the Treasury Bulletin.
