Dr. Leslie Tengelsen, PhD, DVM
Dr. Tengelsen received her PhD in Microbiology from Oregon State University in 1991 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1996. Prior to coming to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Dr. Tengelsen worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention studying mosquito-borne diseases such as eastern equine encephalitis in the eastern United States and West Nile virus in Romania.
