Steven Pew graduated from Idaho State University with a B.S. in Ecology and an M.S. in Biology; thesis research in Forensic Entomology. He has been employed with Southeastern District Health Department as an Environmental Health Specialist since 1989 and currently serve as the Environmental Health Director for the District. He serves on the State of Idaho Technical Guidance Committee for onsite sewage disposal representing the state’s Environmental Health Directors and is the Secretary/Treasurer for the Idaho Environmental Health Association. Pew has been involved in West Nile activities since 2003 and acts as the lead for the District on questions concerning abatement activities or developing abatement districts.
