Working with agencies and individuals to promote and support positive feeding and eating, Pam combines her knowledge of the science of food and nutrition with her knowledge of the feeding relationship and provides accurate, usable training in a variety of settings. She translates and demonstrates concretely to agencies involved in feeding, assigning nutritional/medical risk, and/or providing nutrition education to individuals and families how target populations can benefit from training in feeding dynamics. Pam has worked with WIC, EFNEP & Extension educators, Childcare Providers, Home Health Care workers, and Early Intervention programs for children with special health care needs. She also provides nutrition assessment and treatment for families and for individuals struggling with disordered and dysfunctional eating. Pam is described by audiences as a knowledgeable, down-to-earth presenter who can combine personal experiences with evidence-based research to give a message that is compelling, understandable and practical.
