Christopher Dimmick
Languages and cultures are of great interest to Christopher Dimmick. As a Certified Spanish Linguist, Master-level Certified Spanish Court Interpreter, and a qualified Immigration Court interpreter, he holds a bachelors degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation from Brigham Young University. At the request of local hospitals at the end of 2001, he researched medical interpreter training programs in Washington, California and Massachusetts and designed a training to meet the needs of hospitals in Idaho. He carries out regular training sessions across Idaho and has trained over 800 interpreters in health care the Northwest. In addition, he trains health-care providers on cultural issues effecting health care and how to effectively work with interpreters.
