Information Technology Services (ITS) will also be updating a security certificate for the secure web servers on CWIS (PRPACE) and Naxos.

Starting at 9:00 pm, secure web services (e.g., MyISU, Faculty/Staff Tools) will be unavailable for approximately fifteen (15) miniutes.

Subject: [Itstaff] ITS Emergency Maintenance - Friday, February 20

9:00 pm Friday, February 20 through 9:00 am Saturday, February 21

IT Services:

The following services are scheduled for emergency maintenance:

Primary Domain Name Service (DNS)

Impact:

The server hosting primary DNS will be replaced. During the previous primary DNS outage, ITS resolved the remaining issues with the failover to the secondary (backup) DNS server.

There should be no disruption in services unless end-user devices are not properly configured with the correct secondary DNS server.

If you experience difficulty accessing ISU network resources (such as the “Y Drive”, e-mail, MyISU, etc.), the wireless network and Internet/Internet2 web sites/resources during this maintenance window, contact the IT Service Desk at 208-282-HELP (4357).
