Information Technology Governance

Clinical Computing Committee

Mission Statement

The Clinical Computing Committee is a formal, standing committee within the IT Governance Structure at Idaho State University whose purpose is to give health clinics at ISU a formal means of representation to the University administration regarding the clinics' computing and technology needs. The Committee seeks to monitor the use of information technology within the clinics, to encourage and facilitate the adoption of state-of-the-art information technology as part of routine clinical practice and procedure, and to assist the clinics in complying with confidentiality and computer-related security regulations. The Committee further seeks to promote the secure sharing of data as well as computing and technology resources among the different clinics and to promote instruction in the use of information technology to students undergoing training in the clinics.
