Cultural Attractions

Spectacular scenery, four-season recreational opportunities and all the amenities of large metropolitan areas (without the heavy traffic congestion) provide area residents a quality lifestyle.

Idaho State University offers the community a number of cultural events. Theatre ISU, in its 58th season, runs a series of six plays October through May in ISU's Frazier Hall. The Idaho State Civic symphony, featuring solo artists, performs October through May in ISU's Goranson Hall.

Idaho Museum of Natural History

Exhibits at the Idaho Museum of Natural History allow you to discover the natural and cultural history of Idaho. The museum holds fascinating pioneer and Indian relics.

ISU's Holt Arena, with a seating capacity of 12,000, is the site of NCAA and other sporting events, the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, and a variety of major shows, exhibits, and concerts. Holt Arena was America's first indoor college foolball and multi-purpose facility.

The new Bannock County Historical Museum, located in Upper Ross Park, tells the story of early Indian, mining and pioneer life in southeast Idaho.
