RFC Complex (Christensen)

This is the RFC Complex (building 48) was completed in the fall of 1970. It was named for Roy F. Christensen, director of the School of Trade and Technical Education for 30 years. This building houses the main offices and several programs for the ISU College of Technology.

When Idaho State University was first established, it was originally a technical institute for the residents of the state. Today, College of Technology programs are still a vital part of ISU in that they train students in many different technical fields. All the courses meet state and federal vocational educational standards. Along with its full time programs, the school also offers adult education classes, adult basic education classes, special courses and workshops. It also offers courses for vocational teachers.
