President's Residence |
This spacious white brick house was built in 1917 by a wealthy sheepman, Xavier Servel. It was later purchased by the state in 1951 for $25,000 to serve as the home of the university president and his family. Thanks to tender attention and careful planning, the home has become a focal point and a symbolic attraction to alumni and Pocatello residents.
