The Pocatello Family Medicine Center houses the Idaho State University Family Medicine Residency Program. This three-year program was started in 1992 and has graduated 59 family physicians as of June 30, 2007. The Center has an outpatient clinic that offers services to the community at large, including the Portneuf Prenatal Clinic, an HIV clinic, a Coumadin clinic, a cleft palate clinic and several others. There are 17 exam rooms, procedure room, research center, teaching, resident / faculty / staff offices, administrative offices and a high-tech electronics conference room are all located in this same Center.
