Graveley Hall

Gravely Hall was built in 1939 and was named after Lottie M. Graveley, the first women appointed to the state board of education by Governor D.W. Davis. She served two terms on the State Board 1919-1924 and 1924-1929.

The departments located in Graveley Hall include the Department of Anthropology, the Department of Economics, the Department of Family Medicine, and the GIS Training and Research Center. Other offices and programs available in this building are the ADA and Disabilities Resource Center to help students with learning disabilities, Counseling and Testing Center, Human Resource Training and Development, ISU Psychology Clinic, Office of Anthropological Research, American Indian Studies, the GED Institution, the University Honors Program, the Career Center, the Institute of Rural Health, and the Janet C. Anderson Resource Center providing resources and information for women.
