Pocatello

There's lots to see and do right here in Pocatello, Idaho's second largest city. On the Idaho State University campus is multi-purpose facility that hosts many events.

Visit the Bannock County Historical Museum and Fort hall Replica for a bit of history about Idaho and the Oregon Trail. Ross Park Zoo is noted for its wide variety of North American animals. And be sure to tour the Standrod House -- Idaho's first home with electric lights.

Pocatello has many fine shopping centers -- including Pine ridge Mall, Pocatello Mall and the downtown area -- comfortable motels, and delightful restaurants to make your visit with us enjoyable.


Lava Hot Springs

Swimming and Diving Pool at Lava

Heading south from Pocatello, take a soothing plunge in Idaho's World Famous Hot Springs. These 110 degree natural hot water springs are sulfur-free, odor-free and chlorine-free. During the summer, enjoy the Olympic-size swimming and diving pool -- or rent some tubes and float through town on the Portneuf River. Golf, camping and hiking will round out your visit to this rustic, world-famous resort area. Lava Hot Springs is 35 miles from Pocatello.
