ISU Partner Universities

Affiliate Programs

Since ISU is an affiliate to the programs listed below, credit transfer back to ISU is guaranteed and ISU financial aid can be utilized. Scholarships at ISU cannot be utilized since tuition is paid to the program provider and/or host institution.

AustraLearn
Australia, New Zealand full degree programs,  internships, summer study and full year study in a variety of majors.

CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange
Choose from 40 countries and over 40 subject areas of study. Some service learning opportunities.

IFSA-Butler
Institute for Study Abroad-Butler University--Latin America including Cuba, the UK,  Australia and New Zealand.  A limited number of scholarships is available to qualified ISU students!

International Student Exchange Program
ISEP Direct only available to ISU students

KCP International, Tokyo
Intensive Japanese language and culture study only. No Japanese required, but two semesters are recommended. Pay fees as listed on KCP's web site. Host family option available!

National Student Exchange program
Students can access the study abroad programs of a myriad of NSE participating universities. Students also can study abroad in Canada with NSE and hone their Spanish skills on 8 campuses in beautiful Puerto Rico!

SIT Study Abroad Programs
SIT offers study abroad programs for undergraduate students in over 50 countries. Programs are structured around a theme.

Third Party Providers

ISU students can access hundreds of programs by searching the following websites. Students joining one of these programs will be able to use ISU financial aid as long as the program is accredited . See the IPO Study Abroad advisor for more guidance!

Special Short-term Opportunities

Free! Cultural and Language Immersion Summer Program in Taiwan!
February 15 deadline

The Taiwan-United States Sister Relations Alliance (TUSA) once again offers qualified students to compete for its two month summer culture and language immersion program! Students who are selected for this program only pay airfare to Taiwan! This is a fantastic opportunity for any major to have a study abroad experience at very little cost! Last year two ISU students were selected for this program which accepts only 30 students! Easy application process! Good placement chances!

Application Deadline: February 15, 2009. Post placements available.
