Better Todays. Better Tomorrows. For Children’s Mental Health is an innovative adult education program focusing on the mental health of children and youth. The goals are to reduce stigma about mental health issues, increase knowledge regarding mental health research, and increase treatment-seeking behavior among adults on behalf of the children in their care. Better Todays offers trainings in and outside Idaho. A train the trainer program also is offered.
Honors
Better Todays has been designated a promising practice by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and the National Association of Rural Mental Health. The program partners with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Idaho Chapter.
