Course Title

Multi-Agency Executive Committee Meeting

 

Description

This training is designed to facilitate the formation of Multi-Agency Coordination Teams composed of key managers and supervisors in law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services ( EMS ). Training is delivered to the different agencies at the same time.

Multi-Agency Coordination Training is organized into two sessions. The first session, IEM-501, is a one-day facilitated workshop for one or two managers from each agency, who will participate on an Executive Committee that will plan and implement the Multi-Agency Team Program. Agency executives are also encouraged to attend all or a portion of this workshop.

 

Objectives

During this workshop, the instructors will explain the program in detail and assist the group in:

 

Delivery

This instructor led course at selected host city with other regional senior officials. Training is delivered by a group of professional Idaho first responders, who hold positions of responsibility in their agencies and who have strong backgrounds in the development and delivery of emergency response training programs, including ICS. This group has already developed and implemented a successful Multi-Agency Coordination program and has seen tremendous benefits in terms of serving the community and morale among agencies.

 

Course Length

8 hours.

 

Prerequisites

Training will only be provided after completion of questionnaire and a commitment is made from the leaders of key first responders.

 

Target Audience

There are a limited number of communities that will be trained during the next year. Training will only be provided after completion of questionnaire, interview, and a commitment is made from the leaders of these key first responders.

For this first course, one or two managers from each agency, who will participate on an Executive Committee that will plan and implement the Multi-Agency Team Program. Agency executives are also encouraged to attend all or a portion of this workshop.
